Another clue is the TJ's hood has a fold line in it about 2" up from the gap between hood and fender, the JK has no line, it is a smooth curve. A JK has a wider body, and only the plastic fenders attached directly to the body. A TJ has steel partial fenders that stick out from the body in the front, and then plastic fenders attached to them.

Norpero provide full series LED light to Jeep Wrangler, please see Awesome page, site, yadda yadda lol I am getting ready to buy a 1994 jeep I know enough about Vehicles to hold my own However, I am older now and will bite my all knowing lip to ask what others might not, So, may I ask what is there to look out for on these vehicles are they like Corvettes where certain parts you just can not replace or like older Mustangs where certain parts of the frame rot out and you can never afford to fix it? I don't want to end up with a money pit in the way beyond typical use, I can rebuild any engine or trans thats no worry, but there are always certain part's that prior owners lie by Omission when they sell it to you, so to me lack of knowledge of the sale is no excuse, kind of like the law, just because you didn't know it was a law doesn't mean you do it, educate yourself, and that's what I am trying to do, so, any info would be nice I notice a lot that the doors kinda fall/ rust apart and have heard about frame issues, so please if anyone knows about the 1994 jeep I would really love to hear what you have to say and thanks in advance.īilly, Identifying a JK from it's size is not as easy as the other more easily identified feature comparison between a TJ and a JK.
